So, you’ve come across an opportunity to make money online from the comfort of your home and you’re wondering, and rightly so, “Is My Residual Profit A Scam?” Let’s take a look.
First, let me ask you this. Through the course of a day, how many emails do you open? Five? Ten? Or, if you are anything like me, 50 or 60 plus per day.
Perhaps, they are emails from work, friends and family, store offers etc. However, no matter how many emails you open, one thing remains true – you pay for it with your time and receive no financial reward.
Hmm. What if it were possible to actually make money from your emails?
What Is My Residual Profit About?
Earning from your emails is the essence of My Residual Profit’s sales spiel. The concept behind their system is that every single time an email is processed by you, you receive $25. At least, that is how it is presented initially.
In reality, it is entirely different.
First, My Residual Profit requires you to pay $25. Afterwards, you are given a few pre-written advertisements and some other information to promote their system both offline and online. For those who sign up through your links, you receive their $25 and then you forward them the identical information you received.
Basically, they are blending a recruiting scam and a chain letter.
There’s no real product, as the advertisements and such you receive aren’t what you are selling, you are selling the thought of processing email.
Pfew! Something Stinks!
The is not a valid way to make money and a very long way from a viable business model.
Let me clarify some things about My Residual Profit’s system.
The assertion that their system is all about email processing is misleading. You’ll be managing emails, but that is not the essence of the job. The primary component is acquiring people to actually purchase the product.
What this means is that you will have to advertise their system. My Residual Profit will supply some information, but it’s your job to get the offer in front of people.
So, you will either have to have some experience in marketing online or you will have to spam your friends and family on social media or on the internet at random.
This isn’t easy!
Posting a link here and there doesn’t ensure somebody will even see it or click on it.
Hyped Up Earnings Claims
Actually, because you will have to work at getting clicks, the prospect of making the money they are claiming is unlikely, particularly, at the start.
Eventually, once you maybe have a bit of experience – if you even get that far, the fact that everybody else (as well as all your recruits) have identical content, you end up building your own competition. This leads to market saturation and your sales will plummet.
The other aspect is recruiting. As I briefly mentioned above, because you are essentially not selling anything with real value, you will have to persuade people to join. In essence, this will be like selling ice to the Inuit. Yeah. Well, good luck.
Because the content you receive is pre-written, everybody purchasing My Residual Profit, has identical content. While it might look simple because it is pre-written, a majority of people won’t modify the content or even have the know-how to do it. So, websites will begin to identify this as spam as people progressively post identical content to social media etc.
Therefore, if your content is identified as spam, you in turn are branded a spammer!
So, how does My Residual Profit benefit if they aren’t receiving any payments?
Well, they benefit in two ways. First, they will receive a few referrals directly so that is putting money into their coffer. Second, and most of all, they have your email on their list of verified buyers. Now that they know you’ll cough up your cash for things, they will directly market to you and continually try to sell you even more pricey products. Not only that, they’ll probably sell your email address to other unscrupulous marketers.
With that said, that mere $25 you spend might really develop into much more.
Experience Not Required
Essentially, no experience is required, but the real world begs to differ. As I mentioned previously, you will have to promote the advertisements. So, you are going to require experience and know-how in order to do this or you will just be wasting your time and money.
In addition to the above, there are some aspects of the website that should instantly set off alarm bells.
The very first thing you come across when investigating My Residual Profit is a massive banner declaring you can receive guaranteed up to $70 a day.
This is pure baloney!
First, the website’s own terms declare there is absolutely no guarantee of earning any money whatsoever!
Second, making money comes all down to you. Nobody will just jam $750 in your pocket every day. Therefore, there is absolutely no guarantee that you are going to be making any money as you might just decide you don’t feel like working one day or you simply didn’t succeed at anything.
Work At Home Video
Most scam websites use this tactic. They use a genuine, but general news report about working at home to attempt to make you think their system is legit.
The report is insignificant and has absolutely nothing to do with My Residual Profit at all.
Actually, this tells it all. If the folks behind this system don’t give refunds, then they don’t have very much faith in their product despite the excuses they make in their refund policy.
Who Are They?
When we hand over our hard-earned cash to a business, particularly online, we act in faith.
How are we supposed to place our trust in My Residual Profit when the fundamental business is unnamed?
Their disclaimer is pathetic. They did not even modify the Company Name section of it. There is neither a name nor an address for the business.
After investigating their domain name, owner information etc was marked private which is typical for individuals, but not businesses.
The Final Verdict
I did not purchase My Residual Profit to know that it’s a scam. It’s own sales video distinctly comes right out and tells you what kind of system it is – a link posting/recruiting scam.
My recommendation is simple. Stay away from My Residual Profit!
