In the past year, it was virtually impossible to escape hearing about the boost in cryptocurrencies as they progressed from a little-known niche to something more mainstream.

While it’s not commonplace just yet, cryptocurrencies have grabbed the attention of the world, particularly, with the increase in currencies such as Bitcoin to incredible levels.

As is the case with any system or technology that turns up and has the capability to make money for people, scammers slither out of their holes to disturb the waters and rip off people.

Today, I want to talk about a system you may have stumbled upon either through email or by recommendation, but one I highly regard as a scam — Crypto Money Maker.

Jordan Wood’s Crypto Money Maker

While cryptocurrency is intended to be used rather than dollars, pounds or euros; currently, they are used to a greater extent like traditional stocks and are traded by assorted brokers.

At its essence, Crypto Money Maker claims that its unique software is created to aid you in trading cryptocurrencies so that you make a profit, as it allegedly uses a “secret loophole in blockchain trading.”

On top of that, the process is automated.

This system isn’t anything new, there’s been hundreds, perhaps thousands, of purported automated trading systems for years.  Not one of them really work!

Crypto Money Maker’s main sales page has a few problems that should worry you from the start…

Unusual Earnings Claims

The sales page indicates you can earn $1,350 a day, but the terms and conditions evidently state you are most likely to lose money rather than earn any.

Likewise, in trading, $1,350 a day, every day is extremely unusual unless you’ve discovered a stable stock and put a ton of money into it.  Cryptocurrencies are NOT stable!

Bogus Testimonials

The testimonials provided can’t be verified and the images used are really stock photos taken from the internet.  The combination of these two factors indicate the testimonials are merely made up.

Crypto Money Maker allegedly “exploits” the blockchain.

If such were the case, the cryptocurrency market would crash as the entire point is the blockchain can’t be exploited!  This claim is solely here to make the system appear good to anybody that does not thoroughly comprehend cryptocurrencies and how they work.

The Sales Video

If the sales page’s visuals haven’t already put you off, let me point out some aspects of the sales video that set off the alarm bells too.

Bashing Gurus – a popular theme with scams is to bash gurus or other scammers.  The objective is to try and separate themselves from all the other scammers  around and get in your good graces, because everybody who has previously been scammed loves to bash scammers.

Luxury Lifestyle – another popular aspect of this kind of system is to awaken your dreams.  In this instance, Jordan refers to how he made life-changing cash while cruising on his yacht in the Caribbean.

While it is indeed true you can earn money from anywhere on the planet so long as you have access to the internet, it does not mean what Jordan says about himself is actually true.  Again, it is merely a ploy to make you wonder what your life would be like if you had loads of cash in the bank.

Hard Luck Story – Stories sell.  Rags to riches stories are told most when it comes to selling systems for money-making.  Whether Jordan’s story about himself jobless and investigating every system around prior to ultimately hitting the jackpot is factual or not, is sort of irrelevant.  The entire purpose is to make you believe that Jordan, whoever this dude actually is, is exactly like you and you too are capable of going from rags to riches.

This may seem great, but it is NOT proof that this system works.

This kind of storey is merely a psychological trick to get you into a buying mood.

Mysterious Developer

As far as intricate, automated software such as the one professed by Crypto Money Maker goes, there is typically a nerd behind it, but s/he is only referred to as a “super stealth hacker and cryptocurrency developer.”

There is no proof this software actually exists, let alone its developer!

As I will further discuss below, a broker is involved together with this software much like other trading systems such as Binary Options.  It is typically the broker’s private white label software being sold as some one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art program, but it is really generic and probably biased.

In accordance with the sales pitch, this software is not only automated, but foolproof!

Supposedly, you can earn $500 per day without any knowledge of what a blockchain even is.

Okay, but there is NO automated trading software in existence that actually works!

Seriously, if it did exist, don’t you believe everybody on the planet would be using it?

False Scarcity

Yet another tactic used by unscrupulous marketers is false scarcity.  While utilizing scarcity is a common and legitimate marketing method, false scarcity isn’t.

what is crypto money maker

The idea here is that by implying there is a limited time/number offer, it’s more likely you will purchase it.

By falsifying this, “scarce” systems such as Crypto Money Maker boost sales while never really running out of the product.

Zero Cost

While Crypto Money Maker costs you nothing, in reality, it will cost you a whole lot.

First, you have to surrender $250 to a broker, and this will in all likelihood escalate as you lose more and more money.

Second, by joining, you handed over your contact and personal information and labeled yourself a willing sucker.  So, anticipate an increase in sales calls and spam, which will boost the probability of you being duped into purchasing other, even pricier products.

The Broker

Behind every trading scam is a broker, because the broker provides the supposedly magical software in addition to compensating the marketer for every person that joins and deposits money.

While most trading brokers are genuine, it is the wild, wild west when new trading options come into play.

In this case, the broker is MaxCFD.  After performing a fast search on Google, it turns out that they have numerous complaints brought against them for lousy trading practices.

On top of that, while their holding company functions out of London, the broker is actually registered in Cyprus.  This is really bad because presently Cyprus’ trading regulations are rather lax so quite a lot of shifty companies set themselves up there.

Rebranded Binary Options Scams

These kinds of scams are nothing new.  For years and years, scammers have been promoting binary option trading systems as surefire ways to making millions while doing absolutely nothing.  That statement on its own is enough to rule them out of any kind of legitimacy.

This type of trading is similar to Binary Options in that you either wager the stock will rise or fall in price.  Binary Options are extremely risky and the software and systems encircling it are mostly cons and scams.

The Final Verdict

Crypto Money Maker is essentially a reproduction of a Binary Options system, but rather than general stocks, it is concentrating on cryptocurrencies.

Even though the cryptocurrency market is still pretty new, and there are tons of money to be made, you should distance yourself from anybody who promises ridiculous profits with absolutely no work or any knowledge of what you are really trading!

Most importantly, if an “exploit” such as this did exist, the individual or group responsible for it would have totally kept quiet, because the more folks profiting from it, the less money there is to go around.

Essentially, if you were a miner and struck gold, would you instantly get up and holler, “HEY EVERYBODY!  I FOUND GOLD RIGHT HERE?”  I don’t think so.  You’d keep your trap shut.

This, along with the numerous alarm bells in its sales pitch and the fishy disposition of the broker, forces me to one extremely clear-cut conclusion: Crypto Money Maker is a big fat scam!!!!

Hi Barb, thanks for the heads up on this. Looks like one to avoid.
I have researched a few business opportunities about the crypto phenomenon but I haven’t found one that stacks up yet.
I reckon if you want to jump on board now, all the profits are pretty much gone.
Listen out for the crash. I notice Warren Buffet has come out and said he wouldn’t invest in bitcoin or its contemporaries. That’s good enough for me.
    Best wishes, Chris
