With the birth of the internet so too came email, and it is not going anyplace soon.  It has become so prominent that it propels communication online with, in this year alone, approximately 269-billion emails.

Also, any seasoned marketer will state that there is money to be made with email.

In brief, it is a popular and powerful tool.

As such, there are multitudes of scams identified with email, and I am not simply referring to those bogus PayPal emails or that Nigerian prince.

On top of that, there are many scams out there in which emails are their foundation.  Today, I would like to discuss with you a probable email scam – Email Sending Jobs.

What Is Email Sending Jobs About?

This website implies that you can earn money by sending out emails, but not for mere pennies on the dollar, but a whopping $25 for every email you send!

That is a ton of money for sending one email, but even better, you do not even have to write the emails because they give you pre-written templates!

Are you thinking what I’m thinking?  Sounds too good to be true?  Yes, I agree.  It reeks of a scam.

If you analyze the website further, there are a few alarm bells that indicate that it really is a big fat scam:

Outrageous Earnings Claims

Foremost is how much money you will be making from sending emails.  To be quite clear, no company will pay you $25 merely to send one email – never in a billion years.

This calculator doesn’t tell you anything!

Why?  There are three reasons:

  • They employ people who make quite a bit less than $25 an hour, let alone for each email, that could carry out  this task
  • There is a ton of automated software available that can carry out this task
  • There are folks in foreign countries that would copy, paste and send out email for considerably less than $25!

These outrageous earnings claims are merely there to suck you in either through desperation or greed, and have no foundation in reality whatsoever.

On top of that, the guaranteed amount of earnings that the website claims is baloney as their own terms indicate quite clearly that they offer no guarantees!

Unproven, Outdated Proof

Email Sending Jobs offers proof that their system does work by way of photos of check payments.

Now, the first thing you have to recognize is that the above checks are dated from 2006 to 2007 so they are not exactly recent.

Also, the checks primarily come from Commission Junction and ClickBank which are affiliate marketplaces.

As such, it is highly likely that these earnings are actually commissions, but are they even associated with Email Sending Jobs?  That’s not made clear, but honestly, it’s very unlikely!

As a result, there is zero proof that their system really makes any money at all.  That’s not so surprising!

Registration Cost

The last time you went on a job interview were you required to pay the interviewer?  No?  That’s because nobody should be required to pay money so they can work.

Email Sending Jobs expects you to pay $75 for the right to work for them and that screams scam to me, particularly, when you take into consideration they have a “no refunds” policy!

Except for when you are making an investment in a business, there is no justification for handing over money so you can work.  The entire point of working is to trade your time and talent for money.

If anybody indicates you have to pay some sort of fee to work, run away!

Mysterious Owners

Not only would you be giving up money for no purpose, you have absolutely no clue who you are giving your money to!

The people responsible for Email Sending Jobs are a secret.  There is no telephone number, no address, no contact name, nothing!

Would you hand over $75 to a stranger?  I sure wouldn’t!

what is email sending jobs about

We’re trustworthy because we say we are.  Works all the time, right? NOT!

Possibly Bogus Testimonials

Testimonials are a great way to verify legitimacy and Email Sending Jobs has some.  However, the testimonials cannot be verified.  The names given are rather generic, and there are no photos etc.  Because of this, you merely have the company’s word that these are legitimate, and from all that I have seen thus far that word is useless!

I sincerely believe, though it cannot be proven, that these testimonials are just not authentic.

Possibility For Spam

The notion that you will be sending out emails to indiscriminate people you do not know for indiscriminate reasons that are not made apparent indicates to me one thing – spam!

Would you like to be accountable for spamming folks?  I know I sure wouldn’t!

Why else would a business want a person to send out an email from their own email account instead of from the business’ email account?  I sincerely cannot think of any other intention but spam.

The Final Verdict

This website is equipped to con people into not only surrendering a huge amount of cash, but their personal details too.  By purchasing this product, you are effectively telling them that you are willing to pay for other crappy products too.  On top of that, all of your personal information will probably be sold to other unscrupulous marketers, scammers etc. who also will pitch shifty, crappy products at you.

Know that there is absolutely no way anybody will pay you $25 merely to send an email.  Whoever is responsible for Email Sending Jobs is misrepresenting internet marketing and attempting to make it look like something it isn’t.

Stay away from this one because it is merely a money grab and nothing else.

    Hi Barb!
Thanks for an unbiased review of something that seems to be yet another way to scam honest people looking for a way to earn money online.
I really agree with you that you shouldn’t have to pay to join a program without at least try it first.
There’s a lot of other so-called “businesses” that are stating that you can earn money by sending email but in fact, they are only collecting your personal data and your money 🙁
Keep up the good work to expose all those scams!

At last…what do you think of those online businesses that say that you can earn money by reading e-mail?
(Some of them say that you can earn $80 per email…)

    /Regards Jan

Hi, Jan!  Thanks for dropping by and sharing.

I’m so glad I was able to prevent you from being scammed.  Good for you for doing your research.

Yes, I’m a big believer in trying something for free prior to purchasing anything, which is why you should check out my top recommendation here.  It’s absolutely free to join.  NO CREDIT CARD REQUIRED.

As far as making money reading email, I wouldn’t waste your time and money either.  Instead of spamming other people sending email, you’re opening yourself up to be bombarded by spam.  Meanwhile, you’ve handed over your personal information which will like be sold to other scammers who will spam you with even more crooked systems.  Stay away from those too!

I liked reading your article on email sending jobs. I have seen these types of advertisements before and have been curious about them.
I am a member of a couple of different Facebook groups and see these as well as a number of different types of scams.
I guess people should know it is a scam just based on the outrageous earnings potential. Surprised people do not catch on to those things if nothing else.
I have also seen a lot of scammers use pictures of checks or cash – another sign of a scam.

    • Barb

Hi, James!  Thanks for dropping by and sharing.

I’m glad you like my article and that you recognize that there are many similar scams to this one.  Typically, once a scammer has made as much money as they can off people and everybody is aware it is a scam, they simply change the name of the website and start all over again.

Definitely!  Screenshots of checks are NOT proof.  Good for you for recognizing that.  They are real tricky these scammers.

  3. Delois

    Hi Barb,
I did try another sending emails business before. I saw though after a few days that there was no product even though they had links to some marketing training. The product was online access to some educational information. But the main idea was to recruit other people into sending emails but there was no business goal or scale up involved. So I closed my “affiliate” account and did not advertise it anymore. I wish I saw your article before I tried that email sending business. I think it was only $25.00 though to start. So it was another lesson I learned on the trail of seeking internet marketing business success. Thanks for this post!

Hi, Delois!  Thanks so much for dropping by and sharing.

Sadly, a lot of people fall for this type of scam.  The task seems so simple and the cost to get started is fairly cheap, but people soon realize, as did you, that it’s just one big scam.  I’m sorry that you lost money no matter how small.  It’s money that you worked hard for.
