Online scams appear in numerous forms and disguises, and they are frequently presented in a manner that is intended to bewilder and compel you into slipping up and making a mistake.

The most popular ones involve convincing you to purchase a system or product (typically in the how to make money online segment of the market, but not always) and then provide you with a substandard product or a system that will at no time make you any cash.

Today, I want to disclose a somewhat different scam, one which does not instantly seem like it has any unfavorable effects, but could really wind up costing you both money and time.

What Is Fix Monthly Income About?

The fundamental hypothesis of Fix Monthly Income is that it will pay out $5 for every person who clicks one of the links you post here and there on the internet.

On top of that, if you get someone else to sign up, you receive an additional $5 as a bonus.

It seems simple enough.  It appears to be easy money, and it doesn’t cost a single cent to join!

So, What’s The Catch?

I sincerely hope you asked yourself this question, because, indeed, there’s a catch.  In fact, there are several.

A few of these may seem to have little consequence, but when combined they paint rather a troublesome picture.

Poor Wording

The very first thing that came to my attention is the poor language and placing the dollar sign incorrectly.

Although this lack of polished skill is only minor, it’s quite telling.

No Legal Details

This is a huge alarm bell!  There are no company details, terms, or privacy policy (the significance of this will become obvious shortly).

Yes, there is an email address, but that does not help when you are attempting to find out if this is an authentic company or not.

The Earnings Are Strange

Fix Monthly Income says you will make money, rather good money I might add, by having folks click on the provided link.

what is fix monthly income about

This link simply directs back to their website.

Supposedly, they can make money from advertisers on their website and this allows them to pay you the huge amount of $5 a click.

This is baloney!

Not only are there not any advertisements on their website, but unless they’re advertising extremely pricey products, the cost analysis does not figure correctly.

For instance, a typical banner advertisement only receives 0.05% clickers from overall viewers.  So, if 2,000 persons see the advertisement, only a single person may click on it.

However, as stated by Fix Monthly Income, they will have shelled out $10,000 for the 2,000 views of the advertisements.

Essentially, unless they are peddling products where the profit or commission is over $10,000, they’ll acquire a loss!

Even if you give them credit for a greater click through rate, the costs simply don’t validate what they’re saying.

Good Luck Getting Paid!

Keeping in mind that you won’t get paid at the forefront of your thoughts, it is highly improbable that those behind this site are making enough cash to keep their website afloat, let alone give you any money.

On top of that, there is some online evidence that proves you will not be paid.

You Have Been Scammed!

This brings me to the most worrisome aspect of this scam: what they are really doing.

There is no entry barrier for this website and the possible (fake) rewards are rich enough to be appealing and modest enough to not frighten people off, but why?

The reason is you, or to be more precise, your personal details.

By joining Fix Monthly Income, you provided them with your name, physical address and email address.  Also, it appears that, when you attempt to get paid, they request your social security number.

The above information will likely be used against you such as sending you spam emails and/or direct mail or much worse – identity theft!

This kind of information can not only be used by those responsible for Fix Monthly Income, but in all likelihood will be sold to countless scammers and crooks.

The Final Verdict

Fix Monthly Income is a big fat scam!  It is the worst type of scam because it is simple to fall for and the possible issues it may cause you are extremely high. You are not simply losing a few dollars on a sub par product here.  You may conceivably have to deal with being thousands of dollars in debt and cases of fraud.

Systems such as this have been in existence for quite some time and you really have to ask yourself if it’s too good to be true.  Usually, it is and to receive $5 for posting a link is absolutely too good to be true!

Stay away from Fix Monthly Income at all costs!

Reading about these kinds of scams really upsets me because I was there before. I’m guessing you were also once there. Anyone who has learned to make money on the internet has had to experience this sort of shadiness at some point in their lives. Seeing that person’s complaint about how they never got paid, had to enter their SSN and complete a captcha, and then never receive payment – it’s just bad ethics…yet they can proudly tell people that each click on their link will bring in $5 each…I think we’re always going to be inundated with new scams – old ones will die and new ones will come in . And unfortunately, people will be burned, but those who are truly dedicated to learning the ropes of making money on the internet will find their way. I’m so glad you point people to Wealthy Affiliate.

I agree.  Everyone who truly is seeking a way to earn money online will come across many scams and may even be taken at some point, but it’s what one learns from that experience – hard as it may be – and not giving up on one’s dream of owning a successful online business that determines success.  It’s so important to not only research the product/system you are considering buying into, but also following through with it.

I’m glad to see that you have discovered the many benefits of Wealthy Affiliate.  It truly is the best online business opportunity out there and it’s free to start!  Check out my full review here.

Great article, you not only exposed that Fixed Monthly Income was a fraud, but you exposed how they did it and what they really wanted. Though I have not been a victim of on-line fraud, I have been bitten in the off line world and its great if you can keep even one person from having to experience that. Thanks!

    • Barb

      Hi, Dr. Doug!

I’m so sorry to hear that you were scammed whether it was on or off line.  I understand how devastating it can be.

My mission is to expose as many scams/scammers as possible in order to spare people from being taken and losing their money or worse.  Also, I want to point people towards genuine online business opportunities such as my top recommendation for which you can read my full review here.  What’s great about them is that it’s absolutely free to get started, so you’re not risking anything other than discovering a truly legitimate way of creating a successful online business.

I’m glad that your final verdict is THIS PROGRAM IS A SCAM. Right from the start, I was thinking “Oh, this is too good to be true”. The name of the program alone is too good to be true, unless it is an employment opportunity, no program can promised a fixed sure income. If they do, then it is very misleading.

With the promise of $5 per click? Wow, that drifted them away farther to the abyss. I feel pity for gullible people who will believe these scammers. And good that you have made this review, people will be warned.

    • Barb

Hi, Gomer!  Thanks for dropping by and sharing.

Yes, it was the poor language and the dollar sign positioned in the wrong place that tipped me off right away.  Yet, despite seeing this, which I’m sure others have seen as well, people still choose to ignore the warning signs and jump right in.  Typically, those in dire financial situations take a chance hoping this system will bring them out of whatever hole they have gotten themselves into.  Sadly, they soon discover they wind up worse off than when they started.

If you or anyone is interested in a genuine online business opportunity,  you can do no better than my top recommendation. You can read my full review here.  One of the great things about it is that it’s free!
